A big pile of Sand

Every designer loves to start with a 'blank canvas'.....well in the desert your wishes can come true with a 1000square meter plot of large pile of sand/dust surrounding your villa.  You've probably never heard of sweet sand, but with a few organic additives and basic elements sand can be transformed from an infertile dry sandy powder to a medium perfect for native plant species from this desert region.

Planting Preferences

from the classic climbers like Bougainvillea to the yellow Mandevilla climbers grow vigerously in this climate  and are great a covering and brightening up rather plain, drab looking balconies and verandas in new and unexciting Gulf housing projects. Plant jasmine in pots close to the house, french windows or another covered seating area where you frequent for a pleasant lingering smell in the hot humid evenings of the Gulf.
